My sister gave her stepson the gift of a SunFunYou experience when he graduated from university. It is exactly what our mom gave us when we graduated from uni: a trip on a boat in the Mediterranean. I love the circle of life!
We didn’t know it at the time, but it was the last trip we took together as a family: my mom, her sister, my sister and me. And, even if that weren’t the case, it would have been the first trip we took together as adults. It was an amazing feeling being four women exploring the world together, and forming new relationships with each other as we did it.
I think travel is the perfect graduation gift! We go through three sets of educators. The first are our parents. The second are our teachers/professors. The third is life. I love seeing new generations of travelers leap from their nests and excitedly explore the world!
Travel is a great way to celebrate most milestones. We’ve have birthdays, engagement celebrations, and honeymooners on the Voyages with us. When you’re celebrating something important, adding the dynamic of a special trip can really elevate the whole experience and make that memory stand out.
